A small business in Ocala, FL is seeking a part-time courier for an evening shift to deliver items according to pre-determined routes and schedules while handling all customer interactions with professionalism and courtesy.

Primary Responsibilities Include

• Pre-check items against delivery log prior to beginning route
• Package items in bags for delivery
• Fill out and copy paperwork related to deliveries
• Load and unload bins, typically less than 20lbs
• Deliver to customer locations using a company vehicle (non-cdl) according to a predetermined route and schedule
• Check delivery items with customers and complete paperwork prior to delivery drop-off
• Return items from customer locations
• Report customer concerns to management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid state driver's license (CDL not needed)
• Clean driving record and background check
• Must carry valid, current auto insurance
• Must possess personal navigation software (smartphone or other GPS device)

Qualifications

• Punctuality, accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong verbal skills
• Gets along well with other couriers
• Comfortable with driving and operating a vehicle for extended periods of time and in the evening hours

Relevant Work Experience

• Previous delivery experience preferred but not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
